Felicity Party Istanbul Deputy and TBMM Group Chair Lawyer Bülent Kaya reacted to the People's Alliance deputies' non-attendance at the General Assembly where the bills were discussed within the scope of the extraordinary session of the Turkish Grand National Assembly.

Taking the podium on behalf of the New Path Group, Kaya emphasized that the hall was largely empty, noting that only AKP Istanbul Deputy Oğuz Üçüncü was present. Kaya said, "Mr. Oğuz Üçüncü, I respectfully greet you. You are the sole representative of 272 AKP members of parliament, and I bow before you. Thank you very much for your respect for our proposed law."

Kaya, stating that the People's Alliance deputies did not attend the General Assembly due to the lack of a roll call, expressed his reaction by saying, "Well, isn't being here with only two deputies just because there was no roll call an abuse of a right, Mr. President? Being here with only two deputies and then rushing in during the voting... If you're looking for an abuse of a fundamental right, look for it there, I propose here once again."
